Frage von pkirschke:Hello User,
Now I have a new system increased with Athlon X2 6000 +, 4 GB DDR2, Gigabyte motherboard. When capturing my VHS tapes with Canopus 110 and MainConcept H264 are lost only through pictures. Frame rates of 15 fps and so jerky playback are the rule. Does the Dual Core Processor Driver for special MainConcept encoder? Oh yes, I am using XP + SP2. Capture Progs What else do you have good experience? Thanks for tips. Paul

To my knowledge, is H.264 (MPEG4) is not echtzeittauglich, as compared to the MPEG2 compression is significantly more efficient and enormous demands s.die hardware.
AVCHD is H.264 as a variant.
Even with a standard resolution without image Realtimecapturen losses hardly possible. Use MPEG2, therefore, what your PC should probably pack.

What moves you to VHS tapes in this way yourself? Here you will shoot with my sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Read the tapes as a PAL DV-AVI do with an AND (d) an editing program in an output format of your choice. Then, there are no dropped frames, like the conversion is not in real time is to be completed.
For all the VHS goes!
