I will marry at the end of September and then in the honeymoon Right :-))
So far, I have never seen a camcorder is used, but very pleased with photographs of my SLR & Co.
For the wedding and subsequent honeymoon but then I would be happy but moving pictures, but yes it is significantly more mood over.
Before one asks: No, I will not have my wedding on film, which takes over a friend. So do not worry .. ;-)
What camcorder would you recommend?
I'd like to get round tapes, SD cards seem to me the means of choice. The AVCHS-compression seems to always enforce and next qualitätativ no longer forced to be worse.
Wedding and honeymoon a strain on our budget a bit, so I would you like a fairly cheap camera purchase. However, we make these recordings only once, and they are certainly still many years ever again.
Is it really an HD camcorder be? The Canon of HF100 (approx. ¬ 700) or Panasonic SD9 (about 600 ¬) without telling me about some great expertise. An HD television is not yet available, but in the foreseeable future to join us.
What camcorder would you say to me as "low-budget solution" recommend?
(approx. ¬ 250-450). Are the pictures of equipment in this price category useful, or suitable for wedding videos? Or is the quality easy-to-bad?

From the camcorder and a fundamental system apart advice: Look at that over there is sufficient light. Find a chapel / church with large windows (test photos), at the "disco" please no RGB LED light organ of Conrad, but - at least - PAR lamps. If the filmmakers in the church can not move (and somewhat disturbing the solemnity), should there be a second, which - especially when Jawort - the couple times synonymous frontal (behind the side of the altar) can hold. Also on the O-sound then you should worry about (poor acoustics & speaker = distance to the minimum external directional micro).

The quality has limited the resolution with what to do.
It may be that the cameras in the 4-5-digit price range show larger differences, but <1000 I have the direct comparison of my old SD (MVX25i - his upper-medium) with the new HD (HC5 - HD beginners class) recordings p.42 "TFT and must say I find other things (the aforementioned light and a good example Kamerafuehrung) important for a 'good film' than the resolution (if you are not with the nose stuck on the screen anyway).
If you do not umpteen hundred dollars in SD cards invest like (well, the 16GB cards cost only 30-40 euros a piece, but you you might not yet know how many films you really should you ever take a couple of them) or in honeymoon every night on the laptop wegsichern, volumes are an inexpensive and relatively space-saving alternative.
For Standardaufloesung still the best choice.
Maybe a Panasonic NV-GS 300 (street price <400 euros, because there is still money for accessories - 2 External Battery and Charger zb is recommended if you do not know how and where and how long you s.Strom coming - of Ebay is cheaper as synonymous).

We have a small plan B: We lend us know of a reasonably good camera and filming the wedding.
Only for the honeymoon, we would then have one, here is the quality uu not totally essential, it concerns us more to the memories, and which are not measured in pixels.

The price and the ability to snorkel UW recordings speak for it. For Youtube videos are some of the equipment set, because I find the picture quality, however, totally rotten. If the s.Youtube (Runtergerechnet..) S.der or Camera?

Buy a HV20 / HF10 and a EWA Marine bag so you can snorkel synonymous.
SW20 is no better than mobile würd I say, is a NoGo for memories.
