The HD version of Axio guaranteed at full frame rate and quality of the playback at full Resolutionvon up to 1080i at 29.97 fps and the processing of at least 2 layers of uncompressed 10-bit HD video plus 2 layers of graphics with effects in real time or at least 4 layers of uncompressed 10-bit SD video plus 6 layers of graphics with effects in real time. Furthermore: primary and secondary color correction in real time with shot-to-shot "color balance, real-time 3D DVEs, chroma / luma keying, speed changes, Blur/Glow/Soft- Focus, DV, DVCPRO, DV50, and MPEG - 2 I-frame SD editing, DV -1394, SD SDI and HD SDI input and output, and analog RGB and YPbPr component output and AES / EBU balanced audio with 4 inputs / 8 outputs, SDI embedded audio with 8 inputs / 8 outputs.
The Prices for Matrox Axio HD is at 15,000 euros upwards. The Prices for Matrox Axio SD is at 11,000 euros upwards. The Prices include the complete Adobe Video Collection Standard and a workstation.

After a series of posting the Matrox forum is expected to cost more of a Turnkay system of about 30,000 go ¬ (including workstation and storage).
