Frage von KlausZ:
Tach. I have (me on the laptop, running Windows XP) Premiere CS4 Trial. Now I want to start with a Canon HV30 HDV, however, appears to CS4 when recording format simply "DV". Is it because that there is a trail-version is?
Can anyone recommend me an alternative video editing program that dominates the simple editing and writing to support the current format - because I need the program limited only by time, would be a fully functional free trial version, or even optimal.

In the trial version of CS4 Premiere HD is locked, unfortunately :-(;
A trial version of Magix is certainly interesting.

So I have Premiere Elements 7.0.
And since a direct access to the camera is not possible.
I have the HD-only scenes with the Canon program in a sub-directory and can then save with Premiere Elements 7.0 to access the files.
With Photoshop 7.0, however, is a direct access (on the camcorder, and the images) is possible.
