Frage von realhuette:Dear people, s.verzweifeln I am so slow!
The following problem: With WinTV 2000 recorded movies with DivX (video) and MPEG-1 Layer 2 (sound) encoded. Thus, the information of GSpot. Playing synonymous works fine on my PC.
Virtualdub so I want to edit a movie, but with, there is the error message "no audio decompressor could be found ... source format tag 0050"
That still means that virtualdub is not on my calculator the MPEG-1 layer 2 sound can decode. Although other Programs can be on the calculator, such as the Windows Media Player. Synonymous GSpot says "Codecs installed".
As I read, you need virtualdub VfW and ACM compliant codecs. Do I now get an ACM compliant MP2 codec? And if so, where can I get him?
I'm lying or completely wrong?
Grateful for any help, groping for days in semi-darkness.
Oh yes, WinTV2000 works well with the MainConcept MPEG Audio Encoder. Do you need something for a special decoder?

synonymous, it is much easier. You just suck
"VirtualDubMod", then it works with the MP2 files, I've tried it myself. For the link:
http://www.divxwelt.de/download.php?name=VirtualDubMod_1_5_10_2_All_inclusive.zip. The audio tracks are easily available here in the "Stream" menu. Unless otherwise terminated, the program works
constantly in the "Direct Stream Copy" mode. (ie, the video itself is during the re-storing - if other brand synonymous with specifications not changed -. If you want to know further details about this, just google.
"VirtualDub" is a bit outdated, can handle only WAV files, synonymous, the new stable version 1.6.11 it can not with the MP2 files, it is an experimental 1.6.12, but since I have not looked.

Wow, you're right, Torsten! Thank you very much!
I had already tried VirtualDubMod, here comes (but when you play playback input file, the play button with the "I") has no sound, I thought it would be here the same problem. The file information indicates indeed synonymous continue "Compression: Unknown (tag 0050)".
Or should I be able to hear about the sound synonymous playing in VirtualDubMod?
Anyway, when I save the movie, is the sound with it. To that extent the purpose fulfilled.
Thanks again!

yes, if the open video has a soundtrack, and accordingly the associated codec is installed, you ought to hear the sound synonymous, because you want so erstmal play the recordings to see where you have to cut. VirtualDub (Mod) can be synonymous, among many other players a player. Appears to you to be a codec problem. The resulting video even requires an installed MP2 codec. Go to http://www.codec-archiv.de/win/nimo/Nimo50Build9Beta1[codec-download.de].exe times and you'll get the Nimo codec pack to install, then you need anything else (not too many codec packs, which are otherwise verhakeln.) Uninstall before other codec packs, if not for the.
Properly made, AVI movies can bring when opening with VirtualDub (Mod) no error messages. Not even the hint found incompatible due to a variable audio bitrate and the resulting asynchronicity. Is it the synchronicity, are sound - and video tracks of equal length, windows, according to Information?
