I have with my NV-GS 75 in two years and recorded a few tapes to the recently via USB2.0 on my PC to play on. I used to use the "MotionDV Studio 5.3 LE for DV".
I'm satisfied with the quality.
My problem: The shooting at the show on the camera's own monitor visible recording date and time, the PC to the dubbed video is not displayed. Search in the MotionDV - Software and here in the forum gave me no next, synonymous Manual for the GS-NV 75 no.
Can anyone give a hint? I guess it's like so many in the IT field just a little ......

The date is not like earlier when analog material in the film appear. There are, however, cutting programs that read this information and, more or less good as a title can be displayed.

Hi, this is my Seriously, I have so far only carried out the analog capture and collect just my experience with computerized records. Find ich synonymous not bad, that I do not know. ;-)

Get all cases a Firewire cable to your movies on the PC to copy it. With USB you will not be permanently happy.

Which I share, even though your camera is one of the few, the video data via USB full quality can be transmitted. With Firewire you are no longer on the supplied software, but can any standard editing program to use.

Small note for people who have the same "problem" as I have:

DVDate can usdas date and time in the video stream and more. We can choose whether it is only for a few seconds (seconds are selectable) or permanently in the stream to appear.
That's what I've needed.
As written, it costs nothing - I can only recommend.
