Hello everyone,
I own an Aldi-PC (8383XL from winter 2004), which with WinXP and a Phillips-DVB-T card is equipped. Now I have, until recently, to play over and shooting videos of the following constellation used successfully:
TV Input -> Digital Satellite Receiver -> VCR (for looping) -> PC / TV card
Now I am moved and could have a longer period of time not all the new cabling. Now I have the same hardware with the whole reconnected, but unfortunately from geographic grounds with a new, 10-meter-long coaxial cable from the VHS to the PC.
The basic idea of this system works remains synonymous, but the picture now arg "noisy" and does some choppy, as if there were frames missing, the sound is also somewhat sheets.
Could it be that through the long period something s.den TV drivers were adjusted or changed? The drivers I have already updated.
Are they talking about a software or driver problem or is it really s.dem longer cable? Actually I thought that a newly purchased cable is shielded so that the quality loss is barely noticeable? I have to say, however, that it is a standard cable, not with gold-plated connectors, etc.

PS: I thought about the purchase of a DVB-S card, there are inexpensive with CI slot for the operation of Premiere?

Sometimes it is actually the cable the problem. Depending on your house wiring is sometimes a "modest" in the signal to Wohnungsdose. The test would be imho to recommend:
Cable directly s.den PC. TV s.ein short cable near the wall and then to try and under the other devices connected to find out s.wann the picture is bad. No. Y-Male/weichen use, since each is expected to deteriorate contain.
