xps recognizes camera, but all capture programs come to falter, or hang themselves. hab ein nornales firewire cable and xp with all updates. as the capture program I nehm preferably Adobe Premiere Pro 7, but synonymous windows movie maker and cyperlinks power direktor magix video deluxe or hang on. I had it ever so far has just been captured, but now no more.

such a similar problem I had once synonymous (XM2 + PPro1.5), for me, the sound card drivers causing the trouble (SEK'D Prodif Pros). Trying it out with WinDV to capture (is freeware, easy to google) so that went with me, synonymous with no audio output.

dv win also with the camcorder I once dazubekommen in the play mode to change, but gave no visual in windv, then the contact was gone. now makes it still "Palim" out of windows when I turn on the camera, but otherwise quiet and windv depends on.
I need but no drivers for fire wire, which I now so often read, because there is the storage drivers, but it's only for pics on usb?

probiers look on the AV cable or S-Video,
is lossless with qualitätzt but then you know whether it s.der
cam. or the PC is.
