I'm working on a project in 1.5 APP store, this, leave APP. Upon restart, and one click on the file, the clips appear in the project folder with the words "Off-Line". By "connecting media" I can return in time consuming on-line "convert files (because each clip must be dealt with individually - or is there a better method?). Why are the clips at all "OFF-Line" appear.
Thank you for expert help.
Gruß, arthuro

That is the question of all questions. Could it be that the data are stored on an external hard drive and notified them when reopening the project with a different drive letter is? Greeting Wiro

Hello wiro, this could be the case, because the data are stored on an ex-FP. Can we avoid the false SSIGNMENT or what trick it still exist?
Thanks for the reply, arthuro

Yes, of course. Hundreds of thousands of avoiding them daily, by providing a safe material organization operate.
Think about yourself: NLEs do not save the original files in the original project, but simply a reference to those files (based) on the file name and the location at the time of import. So if an original file when you reopen the project is no longer there, where it was when you created the project. . . - Eh? Premiere asks, where is the file XYZ. You must specify the location - it will then automatically find all files that are located in exactly the same directory. If you refuse this dialog box and click on "Skip" You have bad cards: the NLE acknowledge your carelessness with an ugly pink Picture "offline media".
I think that if the project file is also on the ext. FP is in the same folder as the original files, the paths are automatically adjusted, if synonymous changes the drive letter. Simply try out times.

Thanks wiro. you just learn!

Hello,
Just make time: Start -> Run -> diskmgmt.msc As you can permanently change the drive letters. The ext. FP is always with the same letter, as long as you do not put it into another port. Then, Premiere should find the files immediately.
