Frage von klaeuse:Hello!
I have a very specific problem. I was relatively inexpensive two daylight lamps get 70W + 150W with choke ballast (; ie not flicker). get at "real" film cameras so it should be possible by adjusting the number of image and the flicker sector aperture in the handle.
In the first test shots with my PEN E-PL1, the disillusionment: None With a shutter completely flicker picture is possible. With 1 / 50 or 1 / 100 second, the flicker is low, but still clearly visible. (; I do not want to deal with the problem that the pen makes only 30 frames per second and should therefore be properly exposed with 1 / 60.)
What to get with traditional film cameras in the handle, go with my pen with Live MOS Sensor and the choice of standing closing times obviously not ...
Did I miss something? Or I should indeed new, but unfortunately not controlled electronical HMIs quickly give away again and to look for alternatives?
Thanks for your answers!

HMIs flicker times now and the shortest closure time for a properly exposed picture now needs time to 1 / 50. The shutter speed can be a very long synonymous (1 / 25, fifth, etc.), but not shorter.
Your E-PEN PL1 makes 30 frames and will therefore probably not be able to synchronize to the HMIs. This is normal and can be solved either with flicker free HMIs (such as those of ARRI), or with a camera that works natively with a EUROPA shutter speed.
