Infoseite // Once again the issue of Premiere Pro export to 16:9

Frage von caipi:

Hi,

'm new here and have been the forum for this topic be trimmed, but wish the whole issue once again take ...

Following problem:

I have a DVD with a 16:9 video (where the whole is always in 4:3 dragged dargstellt, see note below), have all the means in MediaCoder packed an AVI file in Premiere Pro and wants to cut the whole is now in the 16 : 9 format on a DVD pack.

Note: When I use the DVD in my DVD player insert shows my 4:3 RöhrenTV a vertically towed Picture, actually I would have expected the top and bottom stripes are displayed ...?

Well as always synonymous, I have now is the video in Premiere (4:3) and would like it on the DVD pack, which is a 16:9 TFT screen that correctly represents (a 4:3 RöhrenTV accordingly with bars)

Hope it has given me someone has a short and simple solution to this problem.

Thank you in advance and many greetings

Andy

In English:

16:9 Create Project
Clip Import
Right mouse button Filmaterial interpret "
For pixel aspect ratio "widescreen" option.

Now you see the clip in the Premiere preview window correctly 16:9.
Further processing as usual.

I make some mistake, but actually it should be folded?

When I say VLC player he will show it in 16:9 then adjusts, but auto would be nice :-)

Then it is s.VCL player. Premiere uses the 16:9 bit normally already correct.
Exportierst you as a DV-AVI?
As it shows the Windows Media Player?

Hello Caipi,

First you had the wrong formats via DVD player s.Television. Now you have the material interpreted as 16:9, but check the result via the software player s.PC. These are two completely different situations.

I shall, therefore, the question of what the goal is your attempts? To return a DVD for playback s.Television arise? Then ignore times that tested the software player PAR specification (PAR = Pixel Aspect Ratio) within the video file and ignore it (720:576 =) 5:4-format. Brenne instead prefer a 16:9 DVD and check it s.Television. There should be all right.

If the goal of your efforts, however, a video file for use s.Computer should be, then choose an image size to 16:9 with square pixels is (= 1024 × 576 pixels). Thus do you ensure that every software player represents the correct formats.

That surprised me. For me, an exported from Premiere DV-AVI in Media Player display correctly. To consider which version of Media Player with you it is, and whether one of the options in Media Player so imagine what can be understood (eg, ignoring aspect ratio, etc.).

Do you have a 16:9 in Premiere Project created? This is right at the beginning of the project when you create query? Do you see in the preview window of Premiere Picture undistorted as 16:9?
