Frage von joerg-emil:Hi,
somehow, I shall simply not clear. I work my calculator s.Schnitt depending on the requirements and effects with real time preview a CPU load of 30 to 100%. I therefore consider that all 4 cores are working diligently synonymous. Lt. Manufacturer supported my software synonymous 4 core.
When rendering, it reaches only a burden of around 30%. Where is the brake? For 10 min unprocessed runtergerendert HDV material to DV-AVI I need synonymous approximately 10 min. I ask me now, why is my processor when rendering not fully utilized?
My software and details about the calculator can be found in the signature.
Is this normal or what will happen to you from?

Quite simply:
For this action is your CPU more than fast enough that there is enough reserve for other operations will remain! Be more happy about it! :)
DV-AVI is halfway nunmal for current calculator is not a challenge - not unlike some others (HD) codec.
You take an old box for the same Renderjob, pubst this possibly from the last hole!
However, it may well be synonymous, that your editing program is not quite optimized for quad or PhenomII not yet fully supported what I do not believe.

Hi Ricky,
ersmal thanx for the quick response ... now I grad times the export of 10 min HDV material with extremely exaggerated color to MPEG-4 in HD Resolutiongestartet. My program shows me a rendering time remains of about one hour and the CPU .... dümpelt continue with 30% down ....
... it can not possibly be that the rendering only one core can be used? That would roughly hinhauen if you have something to load the operating system and the current program into account ...
Antwort von RickyMartini:
Edius uses my Quad cores, as well as all the RAM very well.
Why it when your program is not running so well, is probably less well s.der implemented multi-core support - or s.deinem system itself
Antwort von joerg-emil:
.... now I have after a long search in the Magix forum found the answer. Magix Video Prox not supported in all export formats Quad.
It looks like the following:
AVCHD = 4 Core
Mpeg2 = 2 Core
Divx = 4 Core
Xvid = 4 Core
Everything else = 1 Core
This statement only affects the mixdown and not the current operating program, here are all supported kernels.
Well ... ... is a pity that it is not MPEG-2 with all cores funzt, but so can I live now .... I know weninigstens the effect of this is normal and not s.meiner computer configuration is ...
Thanks and greetings
Jörg-Emil

Have the same problem with wmv encoding and many others. Advantage is that I have multiple jobs can run simultaneously ;-) disadvantage: 3 Parallel Jobs with 90% utilization at the same time, are still slower than 3 Serial jobs with 100% utilization :-(
Bald gibts eh but only more advanced coding ;-)
