So that's why sometimes my question / s:
To edit HD video quickly and professionally to some extent.
1. Enough as a Macbook Air or should at the very least a MacBook Pro be?
2. Is the version of Final Cut Express what you get from Apple, a computer with a new order for 200 ¬ extra charge!
3. Convinced of what system & software for your? :-)
Antwort von deti:
Take a PC-based system (s.besten no laptop) because you get more for your money and have a greater s.Schnittsoftware Choice.

MacBook Pro, it should be so.

thanksi! ... Even more tips! `? :) =)
Antwort von DSLR-Freak:
Yes:
1) HD is not equal HD. If it's an AVCHD file is (especially complex compression structure) and cut this file without converting directly like, needs to make your CPU much more than a weak compressed data file, such as intermediates, which is a editing program much better performance process can.
2) Apple OS is programmed more efficiently than Windows. That means it requires less power for the same system power. But Windows systems are at the same power much cheaper.
Whether, for example Macbook Air or Macbook Pro can not be answered so general. Synonymous but have a Macbook Pro must have plenty of power to as Canon DSLR with native files are not to stumble.

although I am apple users, I agree with Deti: buy a desktop without pezeh Indian net only for the work, a good video card and you have a stable machine!
macbook air = rather not. But he has only one USB port, so you're not happy.
macbook pro but since I've synonymous AVCHD becomes more difficult.

Antwort von webwerner:
I currently have a MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM and convert AVCHD video to the Apple Pro Res 442 codec, so you can cut beautifully in Final Cut (Studio). That was synonymous with my MBP of 2008 (4GB RAM). As long as you "only" cuts everything is OK, you start but see, eg, color correction or grading with Magic Bullet Looks make it renders you something. I can live with it. Unfortunately there is no Final Cut test version, so times with s.besten own material to try to test out.

Apple does not support AVC format.
Everything
must be transcoded.
So you have it then with
three codecs, codecs to do quite different, because with the Intermediate Codec will you after so synonymous nothing in the field but must return to a usable codec.
And the best codec that you initially had, unfortunately, not supporting Apple.
In contrast, there are many PC-based NLEs that can do very well.
The same goes for Blu-ray .....
Apple does not even support MPEG2 transport streams ... against only $ 20 additional fee.
Think about this carefully as soon as Apple supporting probably only Apple TV
:-))
