Hello,
You need to HDV Camera no special (expensive) HDV tapes. However, at very cheap DV tapes, the probability of drop-formation (and blocks image dropouts) is much higher. Therefore I recommend you mark bands (eg, TDK, Panasonic, Sonyusw.).
