Frage von jamakasi:Hello.
The absolute filter novice (yet never ne Camera, when had the lens filter thread or one that you could use without problems had), I'm just stumped for a while, what with my SD300 with the Panasonic Wide Angle Adapter VW-W4307H " technically possible or not so healthy for the thread.
is in the wide-angle Instructions, that in any case, the series hood of the SD300 have to remove before the WWA can on it. Is this just a "Security Advisory" by Panasonic, or a really basic technical specifications?
When the camera a 43mm UV filter was present. Say, can I use this not synonymous, as soon as the WWA is screwed? Then has the order
Camera-> WWA> UV filter (with a large thread)
be?
Say if I want to use the WWA with NEM other filters, I have to get filters that fit into the larger thread of the WWAS?
Thank you already for any help.
Greetings
Manu

Well you need to lose weight ne GeLi whenever NEN WW adapter to be plugged in, since otherwise, one has a different distance between Lens and WW adapter ;-)
The WW Adaters usually s.ein external threads are screwed.
Such have normal UV filter is not so.
Depending on the curvature of the WW (adapter), it can not be a filter can be used screwed.
Otherwise, yes you need for the WW for the best buy diameter filter thread on it ... but here you respect the very narrow filter (rings) are buying to get any vignetting in the images.

A UV filter meets today so only the function of a mechanical protection of the front lens against dust, rain, fingerprints, etc. - A mounting between the camera lens and converter would therefor useless anyway. Even a polarizing filter, which must be rotated in use so would be difficult to handle when the front is sitting on it a wide-angle converter.
... Must be the order of Camera-> WWA> UV filter (with a large thread) then? ... So it is. If you want to avoid having to buy several different sized filters, might be the
