Hello Friends!
I have an old super8 film digitized. Unfortunately, the automatic exposure of super8 Camera defective. The film is about a 50% overexposed. Is there a program with which you organize the digitized Marterial, or at least improve it?

Hi Horst,
when a digital video image content overexposed (white), it can be drawn from the areas concerned not to expect more details. You will when lowering the brightness just gray.
How does the footage from? Is there perhaps with a professional film scanning still save something? Or is synonymous to the film in some places only to see pure white?

The only thing such a program makes, is between the last and the next bit more readable to the average interpolated. With 48,000 samples (Abtastmomenten) per second can be as relaxed times to a few (hundred) to read bits and refrain we (believe) still have the correct music to hear. When the picture is not so simple. White is white! There is nothing more! And there was "interpolate" to want to simply a means (in principle) any intermediate color einzukopieren. Detailed image content MAY times now no program "inventing"! As synonymous? So if not there, then there is not synonymous BE! There you are lost! Sorry!

If in between, only one frame is missing, you could render intermediate steps, which are often only a simple crossfade show, but are likely to appear less disturbing than a bright flash. For longer passages with more white images, however, it looks bad.
Unfortunately, I'm not a tool with which such a correction would be car or even making an interpolation is done.
