I think it is clearly more useful the content of memory only on a hard drive and then copy compatible files on the timeline to lay! ;)

You need to Canopus Edius 3 to Version 4.6 the "BROADCAST" - a license to a professional reading of Panasonic P2 material ...
With Edius version 5 and are STANDARD BROADCAST to a version grown together ie P2 import goes perfectly.
