Frage von Chris 101984:Hello,
times a question about Resolutionvon PAL 720x576 is 4:3 if I'm not mistaken.
If I were with my camcorder but the record 16:9 DV material synonymous 720 * 576, now I'm not quite sure how this can be.
I've noticed that my 16:9 DV material of some players instead of just 16:9 and 4:3 is playing the Picture "zusammenschiebt".
Can it possibly be that my pixel width Cam simply enlarges when I of 4:3 to 16:9 switch, or else how can it be the same Resolutiondas wider picture?
Greeting
Chris

This is because some programs do not compensate for the width and can easily pixels per video using a screen pixel. In 4:3 format is the number of viewers did not, because then the picture just a bit is compressed. With 16:9, however, it is very clear.
Had video pixels square, it would be 4:3 for a Resolutionvon 768 x 576 pixels, 16:9 even for 1024 x 576th

here you should be the Player setting checked. SAnscheinend was as a TV source 16:9-device (and the TV is 4:3 and has mglw. No 16:9-switching and is not connected eg RGB).
