A question s.Kenner:
I wonder what I should buy myself a replacement for my broken, very old SONY PC7e.
Is there someone who knows all 3 models?
(Panasonic NV-GS75, Sony DCR-HC42 and PC100)
The PC100 is used for 300, - and the new GS75 already for 400, -!
At the SONY HC90 irritates me uncannily the 0-lux infrared recording option, and DV-in
(although I wonder if DV-IN is really so important in times of MPEG-4 and DVDs ...)
Everything else can according to Stiftung Warentest test at least the Pana better.
But I would be delighted to hear the opinion of an expert on.

If I am not very well acquainted with those, of which I buy a Gebrachtte Cam, I would
always keep their hands of it.
You have no idea how long the cam is really gone already (head hours) and a new video head will cost about 150,-teuros ....
Then rather new with full warranty.
Otherwise, take the HC 90 and the GS 75 is not as dramatic a lot.
Among the journals (which ever one may think of them synonymous) stands for both video films more than synonymous with VideoAktiv the Sonyein few points.

But I'd just like to know what quality is the difference between an old and a new middle class SonyPC100 camcorder.

if you are looking for a bit, it should be a GS 75 new even for 450 (as a residual item :-). Since I would not buy used!

The PC100 was certainly a good camcorder for your time and would most certainly synonymous still very satisfying ..
I can not tell, whether the HC42 or the PC100 "better".
Both are good. But since then comes again into the game against New Used.
My opinion, I have told you before.
The Pana. 75 is still a "tukel" better than the two (my opinion!).
The Super Night Shot of Sonysoll be good. Funzt perhaps even in "absolute" darkness (only probably no longer with Color ?)...
Well naicht quite simply a decision.
A little tip:
A New You can (for online purchase) to return again, not a used ....
