My dealer inquiries bring this matter to me very different solutions.
What is also synonymous are quite expensive! (s.3.000, - ¬)
To this end, I asked what execution or performance level of the PC is optimal or advisable?
Specifically, ranging from an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400 +, or is a dual Opteron board with 2 CPU's preferable?

Depends on what you plan ...
For my needs reuicht existing P4-3, 2GHz, 2MB RAM with EDIUS Pro 3 and P-Pro 1.5.1, and from the DV Storm 2 card. Have thus the possibility with Intermediate HD AVI's cut almost like in the case of SD, or even with the DV Storm2 as a DV project with real-time preview on a PAL TV the m2t files in real time to cut m2t files to and then as m2t output.
