Hello, I am equally as Beginners outing, do only simple holiday movies, etc. But has hitherto with AVI / MOV clips always worked perfectly, synonymous with Premiere Elements 7, which I had recently purchased.
However, this does not run with AVCHD clips my Panasonic SD9 - the clips "basket" is not on the timeline, but on top of each other - you only see the first clip - in the upper right corner with a symbol of two rectangles lying.
Transitions are not feasible. I've already tried everything possible, but without success. Have your own program in Panasonics HD Writer 2.5, the converted clips in MPEG2, but it is not synonymous then edit, but tie up, no transitions.
What am I doing this wrong? I read the manual up and down, and the auxiliary functions, but I get out it's just not.
Also shown in the bottom right corner of each clip in a blue P Preme element, only abei AVCHD clips.
I use the Swedish version of Premiere Elements 7, I must add, perhaps, but here in Sweden I do not belligerent answer, würd tips on looking. Thanks in advance!

No, it could not solve. One thing I have discovered - and that although there are so many video tracks on timeline there - you move clips on the timeline, put the video on my 7 - and I need it "manual" on video 1 move. But the two fundamental problems are still there: the clips themselves, will not side by side like AVI and MOV files, it can not make transitions and the clips are not synonymous prune edit -. I s.Wochenende extensively with the program apart. It is. You can not edit the clips in the scene window, but need to the other switch (just do not know what it's called). Here you see the clips then ranked together nicely, and you can insert synonymous transitions, etc..
After some cursing, I am now more and more excited. Especially because not jerky, but the transitions are buttery soft.
