Frage von Torsten73:Hello,
I have purchased the Panasonic DMR-E53 and so am actually very happy. Now I have a colleague of a DVD recorder with video device has to have several video films (especially children-record movies). Only the Panasonic DVD's not reading this, I have still synonymous with the DVD-Ram's done - that does not synonymous. Can I stop somewhere that I must 'ne uploading new software? Would be nice if I could help someone, I'm namely "Zwergenaufstand" at home.

Has your colleague synonymous finalized the DVDs?
DVD recorders can write to and for things to DVD. For this to work, they must keep open the table of contents ". How do they do it is device dependent.
Only after finalizing the table of contents is written to fix the DVD first and then others can use a DVD player (and apparently begin Recorder) with the disk was.
Good luck
The fat Stefan

Hello Torsten,
a DVD recorder is not like a computer, where you can always uploading a new program. While there, depending on the Manufacturer and Model synonymous firmware updates, but I've never done this possibility of use. Not least because the risk of an update is solely for the customer.
If a DVD does not work for me, then I take a different DVD player for playback. ;-)

Hi Mark,
I do not I really wanted zupflastern my living room with electric appliances, and had bought me why the Panasonic, which has indeed synonymous properly "tasted fresh." Unfortunately, I'm there probably approached a total of naive.
Today I mailed Panasonic and fast you are, get an answer. That to me does not help, I hardly need mention:
Dear Mr. Wegner
Thank you for your email and your interest s.Panasonic.
With reference to your inquiry, we share with you that a playback of DVD-R or DVD-RAM, which was recorded on another recorder is possible. The condition is that the DVD-R was recorded according to the DVD-video standard and is finalized.
If the DVD-R was added to the appropriate standard should, in the Video_TS folder you will find. Ifo,. Bup and. Vob files to be included.
On a DVD-RAM, you can find the orders DVD_RTAV where. Ifo,. Bup and. Vro files should be included.
Please inquire if the Manufacturer of the other recorder, the format in which it becomes operational.
Sincerely,
Your Panasonic Customer Care Team

What would help you s.dieser place?
The ultimate trick, it probably does not exist.
It might help to dissect DVD s.PC (-> detach MPEG2 video) and with a burning or DVD authoring program together again (-> new DVD-Video with the MPEG2 files, burn).
The question is whether you like this this expense is worth it.
