That is not at times unrealistic. The future will lead to the miniaturization, much as you can today with some phones, such as making better recordings in the 80 - and 90ziger years with each expensive consumer camcorder.
Over the next 10-20 years we will have mobile phones smaller, better pictures than today's HD camcorder.
