I wanted to set the Panasonic HDC 707 but is available at reasonable prices so, unfortunately.
The HDC 909 is yes to the display and new firmware is almost identical and would in fact now the logical choice, but I am still on the SD 99 became aware of it, there are no tests. There may be a completely different model which you could recommend me in the category?

From my own painful experience, I can only tell you, never without a camera viewfinder! Had a Canon HF100, s.sich a great camera. In Spain, there was sunshine on the screen only guess what has actually taken there.
The sequel is a Panasonic SD707, with which I am very happy - not only because of the viewfinder ...

The main reasons to opt for the 909 are, in my opinion:
1) The chip has 909 3 / sensors instead of 1 chip / sensor.
2) The Focus has a 909 - or aperture.
3) The 909 has a viewfinder.
4th) 909 has a WB shift.

In the creative possibilities is the SD 99 not to the 909.
You really need a viewfinder? You really need a lens ring? The only you can decide yourself.
The SD 99 has to offer even more Weiwinkel and above all, they will not require a fan and is friendly small.
