I've gained recently, the above-mentioned camera. Now I want to get the video onto the PC with the bundled software is synonymous across the (via USB). But I'd rather use than Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 video editing program!
Now my problem:
When I click "Record" go well, the program recognizes that a camera is connected but can not control that somehow.
"No Device Control
However, my camera in the device control displays gar nich. How can I still capture my footage through Premiere? Gibts da somehow a plug-in or something?

Capture in Adobe Premiere is only through firewire. USB does not work.

Had it not ne additional question: The camera has a DV connection, which is for Firewire? Respectively. how can I connect the camera via firewire s.den PC?

Hello,
of course, your camera has firewire. Ok you could rüberholen the film with the USB Panasonicprogramm incl drivers, save the raw files on hard drive and then cut with Premiere.
But why the extra effort?
Ok, the GS 140 is able to capture with USB drivers, but usually only to the original program with puny little effect and with little video and audio tracks.
You close to the FW cable, go to playback mode and when I was first started directly Windows Movie Maker, and wondered how to be captured, that is really easy for beginners.

January It is quite clear to me;) I know the premiere was quite the non plus ultra (or whatever other terms) is written in terms of video editing. But I'll hold to test whether suits me, and then bid for a previous version evt me on ebay ... Let's see. The Pro version is for private use is certainly too expensive.
