So I did as the title announced is a Panasonic NV-GS 17 camcorder into my possession. This is via USB s.meinen laptop connected and I would like to directly on the laptop video recording - Is the even possible?
(Advance to say, I have been here for answers to my problem sought, but am not found anything, because it's all about firewire cable and video transmissions revolves ...)

If your PC has at least Win 2000, it should go. That should be synonymous, but in the extra manual supplied PC 17 are the GS, just like the setting of the electoral wheel of the GS 17 to the PC mode.
