Frage von Streifi13:Hello!
I have the NV-GS 27 of Panasonic and more recently had a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium. The camcorder via firewire can not connect with the PC. The camera will not be recognized. If I use the camera connected via USB, it is nevertheless recognized as a webcam. Importing movies I do not.
I have the Camera earlier s.meinem old calculator connected via USB and was then with Windows Movie Maker movie to the PC and edit it. About Firewire was at that time, however, did not synonymous.
What must I do to make me the movie directly on my laptop do? It is annoying, every time in the basement to run the film with the help it old PCs to play, then everything on the USB stick and then copy s.Laptop edit. According to Support of Panasonic should dubbing as possible under Vista as under XP, but it is not. Would have been if someone could help me, because it will soon be winter in the basement and it's cold :-))

You must be at the G 27 in the playback mode setting synonymous than what the Cam with USB connection is used soll.Vermutlich "Cam" set. Look what happens when you DV mode (or as the means always synonymous) keys.
You said you save the movie to stick ..?
Than what you save him then? But not as MPEG, is not it?
Antwort von Streifi13:
In the menu of the playback mode you can not adjust. I save the movie under the extension. Wmv. Is that wrong? Editing is synonymous überhaup not a problem only of the camera in the laptop.

wmv ..? * baaa *

Hello,
something you have always done wrong, the GS 27 has no USB 2.0 high speed. That means your USB somehow transferred files are 320x240 big ca - da du violently away much - in fact is the USB only for Webstreaming thought.
Firewire is the right choice, unfortunately, because there are really problems with Pana.

Hello!
Unfortunately had exactly the same problem as Streifi. When I look at the camera with the laptop does connect it is a sound (it seems to connect well to remember), but it recognizes the camera. This means that with my old Windows xp it will appear as a new drive, here in vista it shows absolutely nothing.
On the camera appears in the display zusäthlich web.
Do you have a solution to the problem found?
many greetings
