Hello everybody,
I try so far, unfortunately, unsuccessful movies of my Panasonic NV-GS180 on my Apple MacBook (new unit, Purchase 2008) via Firewire cable to transfer. So before I go so far:
- Calculator is to open iMovie
- Firewire in camcorder and then connect s.Apple
-> Result: windows with "communication error" and nothing happens
Unfortunately I could not find anything in the forum.
Would superdankbar for clarifying instructions!

Bernd in which case I must give in Liverpool (at least 50%), the first time I've connected a Panasonic (GS 75, it was back then I think) the Menuschalter synonymous held on PC, even though pretty much every camera is transferred to the playback mode be. If it is not often, or for the first time - is the PC Menuschalter not illogical.
GS 75 is the GS 180 a bit in common, since the Camera s.Schalter Video Recording, Still Image Recording, Video Playback, Playback Still Image and a PC mode, as you can ever come confused.

That is correct, and I had not so synonymous reproachful meant as liverpool apparently believed to understand them. Only I am still just the old generation at the latest when a problem occurred, sometimes in the instructions looks, because if not the solution could drinstehen (synonymous is much faster than in the forum to Answers relating to wait). Since the switch positions in the Manual of the GS180 is very clear and clearly described, I just do not thing that the liverpool may have already read. That's why my well-meant note.
