Can you as synonymous not give advice because I had the same problem. want my NV GS 400 and replace currently Schwanke FY SonyHDR between 7 and Canon HV30. That's a huge price difference. Sonyhat more manual controls and a real VIEWFINDER, Canon offers a better picture. In the forum, I was almost unanimously advised to HV 30 and I wanted to do a "Henkelmann"
