Frage von iMac SeventySeven:Good evening
I want my shot today footage of the
Panasonic AG-HVX200E (P2 card, 1080/25p) Firewire cable to my iMac via download to get it then edit in Final Cut Pro. I done all that is contained in the operation of the camera (1394DEVICE / PC MODE). On the screen of the camera, however, is only
"1394DEVICE DISCONNECT". The P2 card is not in the Mac Finder mounted.
because someone had the same problems and maybe has a solution at hand? Can it be due to
Snow Leopard? I've got the latest Drivers of Panasonic for Snow Leopard, but is still nothing.
Thanks & Regards

Try it a try via USB - works synonymous!

Equipment is rented, a USB cable is not live it. 64GB is synonymous with images not the fastest solution, I would much rather Firewire. This must work somehow ...

Thank you for the link.
Have now tried out both versions times but unfortunately had no success. The first appears as already mentioned, only the message "1394 Device Disconnect" on the camera screen. Log and Transfer (in Final Cut Pro 7 is no longer Panasonic P2 Menu) requires that the camera is detected via Firewire, this is unfortunately - after repeated attempts - not the case.
Any ideas?

Then do via USB. There it is doing any standard cable.

Aaaaaaaah! Have a random yet found a suitable USB cable, the connection works now. And 35min for each 32GB is still synonymous at a reasonable level.
Thanks a milli!
