Hi,
my Panasonic SD600 the movies stored as 1080i 25 m2ts format.
As a setting I have chosen HA1920.
I read that this Mpeg4 (; H264) will be? The quality is absolutely perfect for me anyway.
Now I want to cut with Pinnacle Studio Ultimalte the films prior to the unwanted things from the videos removed. I would then process them later (; merge with Music Filing, transitions, etc).
How can I edit the video without the format change, or loss of quality to have.
I would like to know that the output format absolutely the input format, containing only a little shorter.
What settings do I need to make it?

On the Mac I do this with Quicktime. Previously, however, the container must be in m4v etc. converted without loss, because Quicktime can not read mts files. Then open them in Quicktime, trim and save it as a movie again. In my view happened after the loss due to the speed and memory because of the consistent quality. Maybe it works so synonymous with Quicktime for Windows. Then you would need only a tool for the container conversion.

Thank you for your reply. This needs to go in but somehow synonymous Pinnicle, right? What format because I would choose as a result of a review as possible to maintain the quality of the origin. A digital editing but does not necessarily degrade the quality?
