Hello professionals,
I now think this smallest Mini Cam with 3CC to buy. Am an amateur and especially likes the design anyway and save from the Aplle Macintosch the films. So why not as mpg's. BUT now the question:
Can I cut the film be so easy (with i-movie for example) and then the quality is synonymous s.end DVD's really good?
Is this really the future or would you prefer HDV cameras (and take Mini DV Purchase?
I am confused? Hilfeeeeeeeeeeeee

With Panasonic SDR S 100 of the search function to find some user reports.
If the memory problem does not concern you then the S 100 Mini DV Konkurent quite a serious, if an expensive synonymous.
The cut with Mini DV is much easier, which has one or by changing the ending in. MPG establish contact with other video editing programs.
The DV editing is not as problematic as with DVD models.
The future is certainly, Panasonic is working so synonymous in the professional area already partly with memory cards.
So if the size is important, and the small change is present, why not?
The majority of users but would wait for another 1-2 generations to overcome the teething problems, and can you get 4 GB of memory eg synonymous for 50 ¬.

thanks for the reply. Are not there already 4 Gb cards synonymous with the Panasonic SDR 100? And you think that, if not, they can be retrofitted? Or was it all for naught (as indeed it often is in high tech).

That was the funny, I did not know it myself. Mr Heintzenberg (Panasonic camcorder manager) had even personally told me before about 2 months, that the use of 4 GB is not released tickets for the SDR S 100, and still show Test with the SDR S 100 closer.
This is ne some time ago, it might be that the 4 GB now received official as SDR S 100, and is receptive no ifs buts.
But if it is in proper working synonymous, 4 GB are now and yet to be determined next year still incredibly expensive.
