I have some time in the adventure of having digital filming. I want to leave my movies a little better and to use Pinnacle Studio 8.3.
The film is supplied samples of the type: film clip with the ending. "Mpg". It includes a File Type: SCN.File with the ending. "SCN".
I would now like the Pinnacle a movie "under the slide," which I have on DVD (on the DVD recorder input). The film has VIDEO_RM files and VIDEO_TS.
The question now is: How can I use the DVD movie to convert that Pinnacle believes that he was of him previously been imported?

Your problem is actually more with the DVD with Pinnacle as a mechanism to do ;-).
Thus. The DVD is a done calculated disc that their data has practically ordered, and just coded to save space. Usually this is the MPG2 codec used (as far as I remember o0), while the Pinnacle, but can not read.
What else happens is that the data on the DVD, so the film is split into many sub-files to set the maximum file size is not exceeded.
-> If you are in Pinnacle finished on an already burned DVD movie want to use, you have this with appropriate programs ( "Dvd Ripper") of the DVD copy down, and Pinnacle in a known format, so you can then slide under Pinnacle ;-)
If you frequently need these features, it is synonymous kannste you easily make programs like Adobe Premiere can be very many formats (Avi, Divx MPG2, ETC) without Schwierigkheiten read + write, it is the intermediate step with a DVD ripper away! I have begun synonymous with Pinnacle, I love it because of the slight Bedienbarkheit synonymous brought much, much more I could learn about cutting movies, etc. .. But first, I can more easily believe - let alone of others still more expensive programs.

The starter software Premiere Elements perhaps, but with Premiere Pro, I can not imagine. A professional or professionally-oriented consumer cuts neither MPEG-(*) even DivX compressed file formats, ergo must be a professional software can not synonymous. ;-)
* Exception: HDV and any other HD format

I would now like the Pinnacle a movie "under the slide," which I have on DVD (on the DVD recorder input). This is a ripping tool is required, such as DVD Decrypter (http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm#rippers see here). For an MPEG file in Pinnacle generate and call - ready.

Hello Rainer,
datest why you do that Pinnacle is not up to 9.4, it is expensive but no more. If I remember correctly 9.4 has a function with the DVD's you can import directly. Is been a while since I been the last with the studio had cut. But I can look tonight.
