Hey,
I created for a play animations, to the background on a canvas of 4,40 m x 1,20 m are projected.
As the whole should be controlled using Powerpoint, I have chosen a Resolutionim square pixel aspect ratio of 1024x293.

The DVD delivery eubn PAL singnal in vogegebener resolution. Your material fits him now not.
The easiest way would be to use black bands. As with 16:9 on 4:3 synchronization will fail device. (If you are the animations mirt the failed format to recoup editing program).
