Hello!
I have a Camera SonyDigital8 get. Have equal losgefilmt and am ready to begin the filmed material on the computer to transfer and with Adobe Premiere CS3 to edit.
Well yes, I must erstelllen when a new project choose whether I am with 16bit or 12bit sound start with would like.
Since I change the settings of the camera ganau have perused, I had not noticed that the setting to 12bit stood.
So now I have 4 hours of film material with 12bit and everything else with 16 bits is recorded.
Question:
Can I use my Premiere CS3 Project start with 16bit and 12bit then my material and my 16bit material in the same Project Invite and edit?
Or is there when you later edit or outputting to DVD problems?
Should I create two different projects (one with 12bit, the other with 16bit)?

Hello,
the quiet, you can mix together, because everything on any internal 32-bit floating-point is approximated. The output is everything to DVD-compatible 16-bit market.
But should remain an exception.

12 bit = Mpeg Layer1
= 16-bit PCM
As far as I know was as synonymous with Digital8 DV, PCM sound ever recorded, or ...?
