I cut for years in Premiere Pro with the cutting tool, but I noticed that one deluxe, both in video as synonymous in Vegas can cut a clip s.der spot where the cursor is easy with a button. (In VdL the T button, the button in Vegas S).
Advantage of the cut goes by faster than when I - as with Premiere - only the tool has to change (button C) then click with the mouse then be where the cursor is and then again in the move mode (button V) switch .
So far I have not yet found in the Help on the Internet, whether you can cut in Premiere synonymous simply by button s.der cursor position.
Is it really not?
Or if they do, what you have to enter?

It will cut all the traces that are left marks in the track header.

When I have a clip on the timeline and move in the video track is moving place, then allowed Premiere to move even if the linked audio clip is in its wake another audio clip in your way. Result: the other sound clip is simply reduced. One can see that when I moved my video -/Audioclip move away again.
Then I have to pick another clip, the video -/Audioverknüpfung and drag the audio clip again as long as the video clip and they link them back.
How to avoid the problem? Can one premiere set so that does not happen?
Hope I have now not been described to chaotic. ;-)

Hi,
if you want to avoid then just drag the audio part before moving deeper into a track.
If you want to move only the video part s.die new position then press and hold ALT and move the video part.

Hello!
You can give this function Customise synonymous! cut under Edit-> Keyboard Customization-> tab "Application" -> sequence-> "s.aktueller position" you can assign this function to a key command. I have "F12" is selected, which was still free and this is button without looking at the keyboard is very easy to reach.
