Frage von scrooge:Salü together
I cut my films yet with Premiere Pro CS3 on Vista 32 bit.
I know that fully supports Premiere Pro s.CS5 the first 64. Currently I am but an update on the CS5 too expensive.
I übelege but of Vista32 upgrade to Win7 64.
My question s.euch:
Premiere Pro CS3 can benefit by at least 64 Win7 of more visible given memory? I want to upgrade the RAM of 4 to 8 GB (Processor, Intel Quad Q6600).
Since my debut (described shot with EOS 550D, mounted as Avid DNxHD as of B. DeKid) at the time even for small film projects ever reports that the memory is running low and I hope shortly after crashing mercilessly with RAM upgrade and 64-bit Windows as relatively favorable to improve the system.
My hope is justified?

CS3 will be compatible with Windows 7 64, (Note the usual constraints on ev is required) you will be synonymous with moderation of the
better performance of the OS benefit.
If I'm not entirely false recall an assignment of 4G of RAM for CS3 is possible.
To what extent is process-oriented CS3 to take full advantage ... ?

Hi Jörg,
thanks for the reply. Hmmm ....
Can anyone say how much GB of RAM can use Premiere Pro CS3 on a 64-bit Windows actually?

Antwort von RickyMartini:
Normal, 32-bit applications, a 64 bit OS synonymous maximum of only 2GB of RAM in use.

Ok, thanks for the info.
Then probably only the upgrade is to CS5.
