Frage von FreJBro:Hello dear community forums,
I sit with another editor, the next little lives away, for a moment cut s.dem Short Film. We use both Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and each have the footage (on the PC and I am on an external hard drive).
First, I made a rough cut and he then sent the project file, so that he can still make refinements. Until then, everything went fine, now he has returned to me the project file. Normally asks Premiere yes - if the source location due to changed drive letters, etc. can not find - after a file from the source directory and links the rest of the files automatically. With me he did it synonymous, but he has joined Shockingly, only the File and demanded the remaining files are now all offline. : - /
We both have the footage in each case in a folder (of course) but in different paths, and (he was) Cutter and the other files so synonymous connect without any problems when I had sent the project file, so it may actually not s.den paths lie.
What has gone wrong and exactly how to correct the problem?
I'm hoping for answers and schonmal thank you in advance!

Put all the clips in the list offline and then link directly it again. Perhaps it is then.

Hi Ricky,
erstmal thank you for your quick response. What do you mean exactly? If the other editors, the offline files set before me the project file, or send me after I opened it with the offline files?
"Put all the clips offline in the directory and then link directly it again."
Or do you mean that I should combine all the clips manual? If you mean - that would be probably a bit too vigorously, since it is about 700 clips. ^ ^
Antwort von RickyMartini:
If the clips into bins in order, can be synonymous without further ado, the content of a directory link and offline and share new. If you have any clips you should not be confused, this is a gross fumbling until everything fits again.
If there should be only individual clips, is expected to keep this Neuverlinken indeed limited. Everything is down and share it were not advisable.
Antwort von FreJBro:
So the footage is on two computers in a single folder.
In the Premiere project file, we have the footage of the sake of clarity then divided into three directories or folders (shooting day 1, day of shooting 2, shooting 3).

Then the so synonymous Neuverlinken should be no problem. :)
