Frage von thorsten0909:Hello everyone!
I am absolutely s.verzweifeln ...
I would like with Premiere Pro CS5 DV footage of a DCR-PC101E eindigitalisieren, but if I turn on the camera, in Prem goes to nothing more (no preference, which I click - no reaction or by the minute not the desired). Camera appears to be offline. The recording window can then be synonymous not close-OUT - I turn the camera off again - then everything works as usual, except that I can not stop eindigitaliesieren; (
The camera is bit seven in Windows Ultimate 64 displayed correctly in hardware.
Have been synonymous the trick to install the "old" marked OHCI Firewire drivers tried, but unfortunately no success synonymous ...

Hi Thorsten,
I can help you probably do not really synonymous. After I read your post, I have the scenario but let's just adjusted for me, since I have lying around or a synonymous DCR-PC101E.
I usually use the Scenelyzer yes to transfer, but now I've tried it out directly in Premiere Pro CS5.
So for me everything is working properly.
Motherboard is an Asus P5Q-E, in the device manager says "OHCI-compliant 1394 host controller LSI. Operating system is Win7HomePremium64.
So I think the problem is indeed in the area of the firewire controller / driver. But so smart were you even so.
Hope you found a solution yet. Good luck!
Greetings
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your first efforts.
Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant with me as controller. Perhaps here lies the rub already ... I remember that the Avid (on which I had cut earlier, but I changed sides because of the low export opportunities Premiere) has only with Texas Instruments chipset works fine. Maybe it's premiere at the other way around ...
Are there any specific drivers that are specifically for reliable DV editing ...?
