I have a problem and hope you give me help in solving them. And although I looked at the Premiere Pro 2, a small video (about 15 min) want to create. This is a guessing game. You can try the following:
Review on the Adobe homepage to make sure it is a Vista patch there.
Uncompressed makes huge files that you may not have enough space on your disk / partition searched. Choose instead uncompressed "DV" if it works you have found the problem.
Your source material can be a quirk or an applied effects. Make a new Project, put it another clean source material and let it render. If this works, it is probably s.Quellmaterial or the effects of the original project.
If none of this helps: Write s.Adobe. Or wait for the Vista SP1, which probably comes in three / four months :-)

Adobe says that Premiere Pro 2.0 is not Vista compatible. It is not synonymous patch for it.
If it is synonymous with CS3, it is probably happening s.Material. Synonymous times I had a broken clip and the program fell from me always. After I had removed the clip, everything worked fine. So remove the clip s.dem the program always crashes and trim in new. Perhaps it Hilt.

It was anscheidnend really s.eine file of the source material was broken.
Times have changed and he now runs completely through without rumzuzicken:)
