I have a music video with the following characteristics, is an avi file:
Video: DivX 5 528x400 25.00fps
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 44100Hz stereo 128Kbps
With the Windows Media Player, I can easily look at it.
But when I load it into Premiere Pro, it shows me only the video track s.and the sound remains silent - why?
I want to make one mpg file from the rar file and when I'm with TMPGEnc 2.5 as broken, "he told me even the video.
How can I still convert it into mpg format so that I can then reinziehen in Encore?

as far as I know is a non divx format that is editable.
event that can cut the video in Premiere you could record the sound through your sound card that is with a driver from the cable output in the einegang and then resume as with the windows recorder software.

I habs made something like that, have the sound recorded with a recording program and assigned to the video in Premiere - complicated!
