Frage von Beatfabrikant:Hello!
I am recently a proud owner of a Macbook pro and Adobe premiere cs 3.2.0. To test I have an uncompressed dv avi clip imported and had less time to note that the new Premiere is running extremely slow: the lack of real-time with only small effects, small delays in the timeline you to zoom and damned long render times. That can not be normal right? In my "old" Avid Media Composer flutscht things perfect. Probably because the created OMFI media data. But how does it at Premiere?
I hope you can help me. Perhaps it is synonymous only a matter of attitude
THX!

None has an idea?
Antwort von Meggs:
New versions of Premiere are always resource hungry than the previous version, so synonymous with CS3.
For Mac version, I can not say much, the Windows version runs with contemporary PC S.2 GByte memory rather quickly.
Antwort von Beatfabrikant:
Goodwill that can be. However, I have the feeling that Premiere is not the full memory use. Where can I adjust something? When Photoshop goes into the wonderful of the Taskleistmenüs.
Antwort von Debonnaire:
When Photoshop goes into the wonderful of the Taskleistmenüs. What exactly do you mean this and how do you make it in Photoshop?
Antwort von PowerMac:
(...) Dv avi uncompressed imported clip (...) Not again!
