Hello,
I test version just the Vegas Pro 9, so far I only knew Magix.
Well I have a project with settings 1980x1080 (25 fbs) as synonymous clips have created this format.
What surprises me now is the fact that the preview window is not completely filled out. This preview only appears in 240x135 pixel size, why is that? Can not see the bigger, I find no setting for it?

I just noticed that I get it bigger if I accuse the Width! But always smth 1 / 3 of the preview window is not used, so the lower third is always empty. Why can it not in de rhöhe small machenohne which is synonymous Picture scaled, it is still wasted space?

Because by default only "just used" are scaling ranges for smaller preview synonymous with optimum quality and playback performance.
If you want it differently, add to Use: Right click on the preview pane and right-click menu in the
"scale video on the preview window size" to select.

Well with the right and was on the preview window actually scaled s.and though it was not better. I have the time off, so at least it's bigger and in the middle. Now I have the preview pane, and then reduced gehts. The scheitn not scale with the preview window to go so very right!
