I have a problem.
I want more clips, which started long time ago a friend of DV on the PC into avi import into iMovie. In about half of the clips are synonymous work. But on the other half, it will import the clips, but they can not see it and it appears only a black screen, unplayable. The total length of the clip can not there be agezeigt
Now I can play the clips but normally in Quicktime without a problem. There is, however, provides that during these very short clips synonymous s.end comes a black screen.

I'm not sure what's wrong here. But since going on the Quicktime files, Quicktime Pro would be the solution for you. Appear the same as in small riders iMovie s. below the edge of the window in QT Player and you can trim the clip. Besides, you can export it as Quicktime DV with the extension. Mov.
Quicktime pro can hold more way: Sometimes fast audio capture or synonymous, well, and just hastily transformed into a series of codecs) (via Open> Export.

Ok that sounds good times already. Is there still a less costly alternative to solve the problem. So a different program with which you can export trim clips?

30 ¬? Conversion of all sorts, there are thousands of free tools that you can find at Google. Keyword "X2Y for Mac", eg "avi2mov for Mac. This is actually not a real issue, as indeed is generally no Quicktime Avi has a problem. As I said, no idea what's wrong with the files.
