Problem mit 16:9

Problem with 16:9

Frage von XDAP:
Juni 2006

Hello,
Please help me quickly because this is very urgent to me.

I Ahbe with my MiniDV camera-recorded in 16:9 and would now intersect with Premiere 6.5.

The only problem is that in the video next to the black stripes synonymous nor 16:9-information must be stuck, because most players then there's an extra pair of black stripes and then adds all bunched in a manner Cinema-Scope with fat people or stretches of a Picture in width, which then has the same effect in full screen.

I just want to cut the whole in a clean 4-3 with two black stripes here. But I now murks around for hours with some pixels and it is not fair!

Hope you can help me there - Thanks in advance

Christoph

Typical case of no consistent preferences for Recording and sequence. Your original material is not affected, however, all just a matter of display. You will have gecapturet than 16:9, then equalized Premiere allegedly compressed pixels. I know only the opposite case, that I had accidentally included anamorphic images in 4:3. There were only 6, 7 clips, I made them so. The finished pictures were displayed properly anyway. If you have not yet made 100 cuts reimport, your clips into a pure 4:3 Project, if it does export, your cut list and reimport them as well. Render files are, however, with the wrong pixel ratio for the ton.

No, have you not - at least not in the strictly technical sense. You have taken letterbox format (ie 4:3 with black bars above and below). Therefore, you must edit the material synonymous as 4:3.

Axel's method works reliably. But actually it should be sufficient synonymous to change only in the project settings to 4:3.

I see the light of the above description synonymous and supplements the following information:
