Hello together
It's my turn, my old VHS collection to digitize and indeed with the Cinergy 400 TV Cinergy and its capture software. Resolutionist 720x576 with the Huffyuv 2.1.1 codec. Now the problem is after a certain time, be under 20 minutes, or until after 70 minutes, the recording stops suddenly. I get a Stillimage, time is running next but it is no longer included. I have already tasted the whole synonymous uncompressed or store with other codecs to ... same problem. is a new hard drive (160GB), system is an Intel Pentium 4 with 3 GHz, UDMA is enabled and running in the background besides the video card drivers (ATI Radeon 9600) no. Has anyone an idea what could be the problem?

I know Cinergy 400 TV unfortunately. Try it once but with another program nem ... Perhaps it is synonymous s.Videoplayer?

With VirtualVCR I have already tasted synonymous. There I had the problem that is not the Picture and sound are synchronously. A widespread phenomenon. VirtualDub works with the Cinergy I think not (have it) tried without success. Otherwise I find really no longer a Capture program where I can integrate codecs and with the highest possible Resolutionins can record AVI format. Or knows someone still one?

Hi Marco,
Windows Movie Maker does not allow the binding of some codecs, but for this you can capture in DV-AVI format - if you have a TV card allows. Often comes out only MPEG1 / 2.
