Frage von moviefactory:Hello,
I have a problem, which I would like to briefly describe, in the hope that someone can help me.
I work s.einer HP Workstation 8600 with an AJA XENA LHe, s.der HD-SDI on a JVC Full HD preview monitor.
As an editing system, I use Adobe Premiere CS3. The drivers are all installed correctly, the system is running.
Now I have the Cineform Prospect HD Codec bought and would like this with all its advantages for the use of cutting-FullHD. The material is of a Sony PMW-EX1 (FullHD, 1920x1080, 50i, 35MBits).
I go, follow these steps:
1. The recorded HD footage I turn to the codec with the corresponding separate tool HDLink in the Cineform Intermediate AVI format (new AVI file created)
2. Create a new project in Premiere CS3 (Settings: Cineform ProspectHD 1920x1080 50i).
3. Import the newly created AVI file (Cineform codec) in Adobe Premiere CS3 & dragging on the Timeline or in the source monitor
When I look at the timeline and the source monitor to play now wants to jump the CTI ( "pointer" in the timeline), without the sequence of play, within a split second s.den always Outpunkt sequence.
The current image of nursing, s.dem the cursor in the timeline is, but will always appear when I synonymous in the timeline "Scrubber". Only the playback does not.
In the playback settings I have "Enable HD-SDI scrubbing and playback" is selected.
If I switch to "desktop only", does the playback of the timeline error-free and in real time, but only on the first preview monitor, not on the external HD-SDI JVC connected preview monitor.
Kurios: The playback on the JVC Full HD monitor works strangely when I use the Cineform file in the small preview window in the play. Then the picture is correct and smooth over the HD-SDI AJA XENA on the JVC monitor. Only from the timeline, and out from the source monitor window does not.
I would be very grateful if someone help me and give valuable tips could. Perhaps someone has already had the same problem and could solve it ...
Thanks in advance.

CS3 (3.2) but can be wonderfully EX-material handle natively? And what if the material Premiere natively on the timeline is?
Antwort von moviefactory:
Hello jazzy_d,
thanks for the quick reply.
That is correct, what you're saying. If I use the MP4 files directly into Premiere CS 3.2 reinziehe (Project-Settings "XDCAM EX - 1080 50i"), ie without the Cineform conversion, then I can easily the timeline and play smooth, speak natively with the EX-Files work / cut.
The crucial problem is then, however, that the picture does not have the AJA XENA HD-SDI via the JVC monitor output, but only on the desktop. I can understand the AJA XENA in the playback settings are not selected, but only the output on 2nd monitor I will not.

I have the problem seems to resolve itself, as so often, through hours of trial & error and trial and error attempts.
It is apparently s.der latest Cineform ProspectHD version 3.4. I have uninstalled it and test as the previous version 3.3 installed - and lo and behold, it does everything correctly, as it should. The timeline is clean and everything is played via HD-SDI via the AJA XENA LHe on the JVC monitor, without the need to render!
Is there someone in the approach with Premiere CS3 in conjunction with the Cineform Prospect HD Codec synonymous with the current Version 3.4 works? Would appreciate some feedback on.
For me it works now even with the version 3.4, which is why I have to first re-installed and activate it.

Unfortunately, I have the item with the supposed solution to the problem quickly responded. FACT: The playback from the timeline works out only if there are no effects to the clips lie!
As soon as I with the Cineform codec included (real)-Effects on a clip and put it in the timeline would like to play, so the cursor moves only a frame and next plays from nothing.
I put the cursor, however, a clip WITHOUT Effect, then it is easy to play.
Since it is Cineform real-time effects that seems synonymous no red render bar. Premiere has the timeline that is actually playing, but not what they make.
Slowly, I am s.verzweifeln .... what is the reason?
I would be on your help and tips look.
