Frage von wiper:Hello,
I want to watch DVDs on my PC and I've now purchased a YUV SCART cable, but the television stays black: (
Nen I have a GeForce 6600 GT (PNY Verto), latest drivers and not entirely new Toschiba-Television with SCART and S-Video connection.
The wiring should vote, and the NVidia TV wizard is synonymous IMHO everything correctly, but when vorgegbenen None of the resolutions (480i, 576i ...) something appears on the TV.
Do something wrong, or am I what could be the problem? Unfortunately I have no S-video cables at hand, to check whether at least it works.
I do not know if it has to do so, but nothing on the packaging of the cable Suitable for PC -> TV connection, only DVD player / projector stands -> TV. And apportioning the individual signals on the SCART poles:
Cb / BY -> 5 / 7
Y -> 9 / 11
Cr / RY -> 13/15
However that may be synonymous, I am very grateful for any tip.
If this does not work out that with the YUV is the quality using S-Video noticeably worse? I mean, I'm eh no HDTV, only 8 years old nen stinknormal Television.
Greeting

Hello!
No wonder why your Television "black" remains. About the scart cable to RGB color signals (red / green / blue) implemented.
To use the YUV cables to your television would have such a direct input. If at first you only the S-video option, until you decide you a new TV, or even buy a beamer.
Greeting.
