Frage von brullo:We have bought us a EMTEC multimedia hard drive-S120H Full HD and tried in vain to join this s.unseren via HDMI cable television (Samsung LE46M8). Then came the message "Not Supported Mode". The connection via AV went without error.
Can someone help me? Where can it be wrong?
Antwort von Kanalratte:
Personally, I do not have the player, but usually you have to adjust the settings until time to HDMI. Standard is probably AV.

I have the Samsung combination TV and DVD player LG the same mistake.
When I player to another play mode on the HDMI output toggle, then it works. Look to see if you can change s.Deiner Multimediafestpaltte the mode (eg progressive rather than interlaced)
I do not have in my head, which gives the player by default and what the Samsung would have liked. When I think of ichnachher time to look ....
Antwort von brullo:
Danke schon mal.
I mean, we had both tried unsuccessfully: 1080i and 1080p. But we try again!
Samsung has meanwhile responded to my question this way:
"Check, which prints to a resolution of your external device and compare it with the information in the manual of your TV. AtSide 6 of the German manual is an overview vonden supported resolutions on the HDMI input."
This could possibly still say the same?
Antwort von thos-berlin:
Exactly. Mal Watch, which supports resolutions of the Samsung and ask the multimedia hard drive accordingly. Make sure that the value of the multimedia hard drive "remembers" (my DVD player I have to switch permanently, because he does not ....), or you have to do that every time the MM of a new hard drive.
Antwort von brullo:
It worked! It was actually s.der setting: the right was 1080i/50Hz.
Thanks for the help and advice!
