Infoseite // Problem with recording of analog camcorder footage to a PC

Frage von MarkusAnalog:

Hello,

I would like to cover my analog 8mm tapes on your PC.
While this goes with my Ulead Video Studio 8SE, but the jerky picture but relatively strong. When I run only the analog video camera, the picture looks quite normal speed. But as soon as I hit s.PC (Ulead Video Studio 8SE) the Record button shows me the screen in just a jerky picture, and synonymous only takes jerky picture on). I use this composite input (8 pin).
All attempts to establish record by different settings in Ulead VideoStudio a normal image display and have failed.

(My PC has an Intel 3, o6 Ghz Processor and 2 gigabit memory, Ati 1600 Pro graphics card.)

What can I try to?

I thank you for your hints in advance.
Markus

More detail please! .. 8 mm, ie S-VHS, then write the synonymous.
Composite input, and where is me? If it is located on a graphic, a TV or an analog video card?
The data on the coputer are ok
If your camera only has an S-VHS Output, you need a corresponding input synonymous. All other statements were speculative.
So, deliver the exact information.

The request for more accurate information is indeed quite agree, but please do not confuse the questioner.

8 mm is not necessarily S-VHS

When 8 mm can be understood as 1 / 3 "and we speak of VHS is possible by referring to the composite connection synonymous quite normal VHS.

When the author puts a little awkward, he says, perhaps rather than the 8 mm Sony Video 8 This in turn survive in it as well 8 as a composite video signal and as precisely as Hi8 S-video signal.

or not?

I do not know that a composite 8-way times. Unless, of course, synonymous here is inaccurate described a breakout cable, which s.dem end that is in the graphics card, is just 8-way and s.anderen end of the RCA takes time.

But all this philosophizing is not likely to help. What should we know, are the capture settings in Ulead VideoStudio. I just advise me, that is not appropriate with any codec or worse, uncompressed, is included, so that does not create the hard drive, the data rate.

Dear "Guest"

if you should not be "MarkusAnalog", forget what's coming now. Because then you are to me quite simply no preference.

But if you "MarkusAnalog" are, then you should read my post correctly and reconsider what I will tell you so that we can solve YOUR problem.

I'll try again exemplary.

When you write: "My car is red, it has 200 hp and jerky when I step on a pedal, the car mechanic has lots of information that he needs time to make your car back into shape, and you can guess why not create a viable remote diagnostics.

- Which brand?
- Which pedal, gas or brake?
- Depending on the pedal, different solutions
- Have you filled up the wrong fuel?
- Etc. etc.

A good approach would be practical only once, when you did the following information as accurately as possible:

Which cable of where to where, video and audio.
What settings in the video studio have you tried in vain.
(The info "All" will help us, unfortunately, not next)

Otherwise,: who has a sensitive nose, should not boxing :-)

Greeting
Stefan
